FAQs

Q. How many songs do Cherrybomb play?
A. For weddings, we usually suggest one long set of around 18-20 songs. This is around 75 minutes and lets us provide a solid period of live music for you to dance to without a break.
However, we're very flexible and can split this to suit the format of your evening, if preferable.

Q. Do Cherrybomb offer a DJ service?
A. No, but we do have a large range of music to play via a tablet. Apple Music or Spotify users can create a playlist in advance and we’ll bring your choices direct to your evening through our professional PA. We are happy to provide announcements for food etc, but cannot always take music requests and do not perform the MC duties usually associated with a DJ.

Q. How much do Cherrybomb charge?
A. Our fee is based on preparation time, venue arrival requirements, travelling distance and any sustenance or accommodation costs. Contact us using the details below for a bespoke price.

Q. Do I need to pay a deposit?
A. No we do not require a deposit, unless we need to commit to an outlay in advance, such as hotel rooms.

Tech Specs

Here are some guidelines and technical specs so we can set up as quickly as possible and avoid any unexpected delays on the day:

Space and Location
We need an area of about 5 metres wide by 3 metres deep to accommodate all our PA equipment, instruments and lighting. If the performance area is not on the ground floor of the building, please make us aware before confirming.

Power
We require at least two dedicated mains sockets at or very close to the performance area.
If using a generator, this must be a ‘continuous supply’ type as we need the power to be uninterrupted.

Noise
Please check with the host venue whether they have any noise restrictions in place, curfew times or decibel meters. It is critical that we are made aware of any sound or time restrictions in advance.

Music
If we have arranged for us to play background music in addition to the band, we have a number of playlists to suit most tastes, but please let us know if you have any particular preference for type of music. If you have Apple Music or Spotify, you can create your own playlist and share it with us in advance for us to play on the day. Contact us for further information.
